Our association was established among the first ones in county Heves in 1989. Our main task is to take care of local folk traditions, participate at cultural programmes, to support the local amateur art groups and to participate in their work. We have – among others – a folk dance group and an amateur troupe.
The aim of Zéta Folk Dance Group of Adács is to know, to show in and to propagate the folk dance culture of the Hungarian historical regions. We think it is important to empasise the uniformity and variegation of the Hungarian folk dance culture. There are traditions, dances from more historical regions in the programme of the group: lőrincrévi pointer, Verbunk from Szatmár, dance in pairs from Mezőség, girl dance from Kalocsa, Trans-Danubian jumping dance.
The Stage Veritas of Adács was formed on 11 October in 1974. This is one of the oldest art group of County Heves. In the last 25 years they continuosly took part of the amateur acting campaign. Their first outstanding success was reached in 1983. Then they represented County Heves at the national acting festival in Kimle. Beside the professional appreciation they got prize of audience.
